30 years ago, my aunt made a decision that changed the course of our lives. She petitioned us from Cebu Philippines, hoping to give our family a better future in the U.S. The process was long and uncertain-delayed by my dad's health-but her choice opened a path we wouldn't have had otherwise. Because of her, I was able to dream beyond borders and become the artist I am today. Everything I've built began with that act of love. Thank you, Auntie.
